What makes a memorial?
This exhibition shows work by four artists navigating around subjects organic and temporal. Through various media, these artists create both sculptures and anti-sculptures, working against entropic processes to suggest an alternative time and existence that memorialization attempts and possibly achieves. A return to the nature morte, actions of doing and installation pose questions of what it means to cast something into one form or another.
